Charte qualité

Le rendez-vous national est un moment privilégié qu'il nous appartient de préserver et de maintenir. Mieux, il est également en notre pouvoir de l'améliorer, d'en faire un grand moment où la précision historique et la bonne tenue des participants pourraient être les seuls véritables et uniques principes. Mais pour arriver à ce résultat qui nous fait tous rêver, il faut absolument appliquer un certain nombre de règles, accepter celles qui paraissent un peu contraignantes, bousculer nos mauvaises habitudes et essayer de faire partager les bonnes. Enfin, si le RV national veut pouvoir supporter la comparaison avec d'autres manifestations étrangères, il faut surtout qu'il reste lui-même, avec ses particularités, ses exigences et ses petites contraintes mais aussi ses grandes qualités.

Cette charte se veut donc être un code de bonne conduite, un simple garde-fou et non pas seulement un règlement dont la notion même pouvait paraître à certains un peu trop restrictive, voire négative. Que vous soyez membre d'un club fédéré, membre d'un club non-fédéré ou étranger ou tout simplement indépendant et isolé, le fait de participer au RV national implique évidemment que vous acceptez cette charte et que vous vous engagez à la mettre en oeuvre à partir du moment où vous pénétrez sur le terrain jusqu'au moment où vous le quittez définitivement. Si vous nous faites l'amitié de participer au RV, c'est que vous êtes un passionné; venez donc faire avec nous de ces quelques jours une grande fête de reconstitution historique et surtout un bon moment dont nous puissions tous être fiers et heureux. 

1) Le participant au Rendez-vous national français (membre d'un club fédéré, membre d'un club non fédéré ou étranger, participant isolé ou indépendant), soucieux d'être considéré comme un passionné, s'engage à se montrer respectueux de ceux qui sont arrivés avant lui, de ceux qui repartiront après lui et pour qui le Rendez-vous national est déjà commencé ou se poursuit encore. Il accepte pleinement l'idée que les règles qui suivent ne sont pas uniquement réservée à la petite période du week-end mais à l'ensemble des jours d'ouverture du terrain. Il a conscience que correction et respect d'autrui ou des propriétés d'autrui constituent un principe élémentaire et inaliénable. 

2) Le participant au Rendez-vous national français s'engage à ne laisser son véhicule sur le camp que durant le temps strictement nécessaire au déchargement ou au chargement de son matériel, à le stationner sur le parking en veillant à ne bloquer ni entrée ou sortie,ni un autre participant. Evidemment, il est hors de question pour le participant au Rendez-vous national français de laisser son véhicule sur le camp durant la nuit. 

3) Le participant au Rendez-vous national français s'engage à porter en permanence et le plus tôt possible après son arrivée une tenue vestimentaire en accord avec sa période de reconstitution et à utiliser éventuellement la tente vestiaire lorsqu'il quitte ou qu'il arrive sur le camp. Le participant au Rendez-vous national français s'engage à ne laisser visible que des équipements également en correspondance avec la période qu'il a choisi et à dissimuler les autres.

4) Le participant au Rendez-vous national français sait qu'il est seul responsable devant la loi française de ses actes et notamment des armes à feu ou blanches qu'il peut avoir avec lui. La responsabilité de la FFAVA ne peut être engagée dans le cas d'une infraction constatée. Le participant au Rendez-vous national français s'engage à n'avoir aucune arme chargée, même à blanc, sur le camp (à l'exception du lieu de l'épreuve de fast draw, au moment des jeux). 

5) Le participant au Rendez-vous national français s'engage à laisser une distance de sécurité de 10 mètres entre son feu et les installations d'autrui ou les propriétés mitoyennes, à enterrer son feu dans un trou qui sera soigneusement rebouché au moment du départ, à ne pas laisser ce feu sans surveillance et à ne pas enterrer de détritus. 

6) Soucieux de son bien être et de celui des autres, le participant au Rendez-vous national français garde son animal familier sous son contrôle, préserve la nature en ne coupant pas de bois vif, n'abandonne ni mégot ni canette ni détritus sur le terrain, ne gaspille pas l'eau potable et respecte les installations sanitaires ou d'usage commun. 

7) Les perches constituant un capital précieux, le participant au Rendez-vous national français s'engage à en prendre soin et à ne pas les couper, même pour rectifier une installation mal montée. 

8) Conscient de ses responsabilités, le participant au Rendez-vous national français s'engage à être détenteur d'une assurance civile couvrant ses activités ainsi que les dommages qu'il aurait à subir ou qu'il pourrait provoquer. 

9) Le participant au Rendez-vous national français sait qu'il peut s'adresser à tout moment aux responsables du camp pour régler un éventuel litige et qu'un consensus vaut toujours mieux qu'une mauvaise bagarre. 

10) Enfin, le participant au Rendez-vous national français est conscient qu'un manquement grave à cette charte de qualité peut lui valoir un rappel, une mise au point, voire même une exclusion, de la part des organisateurs du Rendez-vous.

The French Rendez-Vous is quite a special moment and an opportunity that we should preserve and keep. It's also up to us to improve it and make it an important moment during which the only real guidelines should be the historical accuracy and the appropriate type of clothing of all the participants. We all need to apply some rules to make that goal we wish to access possible, even if the rules may seem strict and restrictive and upset our habits. Finally, the French Rendez-Vous wants to bear comparison with other events organized abroad; it should also keep its own particularities, its own requirements and constraints as well as its quality.

Therefore the quality charter is a code of good behaviour. Whether you are member of a federated or a non federated club or an independent, taking part in the rendez-vous means that you accept the charter and apply it as soon as you enter the land and till you leave it. If you have the kindness to take part in our RV, it means that you are passionate; so we ask you to do your best to make a historical re-enactment of this event and most of all let us all spend a happy moment of which we can all be proud of. 



1) The person who takes part in the French Rendez-Vous (as member of a federated or a non federated club or as an independent member or participant from abroad) concerned about being regarded as a passionate, promises to respect the people who arrived before him, those who will leave after him on the land of the Rendez-Vous. He agrees to meet the rules, not only during the official days, but also during all the time during which the land is available. He is aware that the respect for others and for other's properties is an elementary and inalienable principle. 

2) The person who takes part in the French Rendez-Vous commits himself to having his vehicle on the land only during the time necessary to unload or reload it, to park it as quickly as possible in a convenient place of the parking. It is of course impossible to leave a car overnight on the land. 

3) The person who takes part in the French Rendez-Vous commits himself to wearing clothing that matches with the period of re-enactment he has chosen as soon as possible after his arrival; and to doing the same each time he leaves or comes back to the land during the Rendez-Vous. He commits himself to having only the equipment that matches with the period visible. 

4) The person who takes part in the French Rendez-Vous agrees that he is responsible and accountable to the French laws especially for the physical and fire weapons he carries. The FFAVA's responsibility cannot be engaged under any circumstances. The participant to the French Rendez-Vous commits himself to having no loaded weapon even with blank cartridges during the event (except for the fast-draw during which only blank cartridges are allowed). 

5) The person who takes part in the French Rendez-Vous commits himself to having a 10 meter safety distance between his woodfire and any tent or installation, to dig a hole for his fire and plug it before leaving, to monitor his fire and to not bury any litter. 

6) Concerned about his own well-being and the other's, the participant to the French Rendez-Vous will keep control of his animal, preserve the environment, not cut any wood on the land, not leave any cigarette bug, cans, or litter on the ground, to not waste the water and respect the sanitary and common facilities. 

7) Poles are very precious; the participant to the French Rendez-Vous commits himself to taking care of them and to not cut any. 

8) The person who takes part in the French Rendez-Vous is responsible for having an insurance against civil liability for his activities and damages he may have or cause. 

9) The person who takes part in the French Rendez-Vous knows that he can ask the people who are responsible for the Rendez-Vous for any help to settle a possible dispute. 

10) Finally, the person who takes part in the French Rendez-Vous knows that any violation of the rule above can cause a reminder or even an exclusion from the Rendez-vous.
